Must visit: Can Tres Formentera

Tucked away on the beautiful island of Formentera, surrounded by white sand beaches and a calm, relaxing energy, lies a little collection of three boutique apartments: Can Tres.

Just 400m away from the Migjorn Beach lies an idyllic little escape. Three apartments are nestled among a thriving orchard and the cool sea breeze: Can Aire, Can Mar and Can Terra. Named after the air, the sea and the land, each of these beautifully decorated apartments effortlessly reflect the sentiment of the element their named after. Can Aire feels light, bright and airy, Can Mar is quintessential Mediterranean seaside charm, and Can Terra uses upcycled furniture, exposed stone and neutral colours to channel the earth.

All with a good conscience

And not only do the names of their apartments relate to their décor, but also to Can Tres’ way of life. The owners of this idyllic getaway are dedicated to keeping the island of Formentera as alive and beautiful as ever before.

Their orchard is tended to by a local team, adopting a sustainable and responsible approach toward their fruit production, even focusing on sustainability in recycling water. With the red soil of this Mediterranean paradise known for its fertility, Can Tres additionally supports local initiatives in the rehabilitation of land to reintroduce the production of fruit and vegetables.

In such a beautiful setting, it feels good to know that the businesses you’re supporting are doing their part to preserve their environment. At DECOVRY, we love seeing the influences of landscape and culture on décor and the way it makes you all feel. So, we’re helping you to bring Formentera into your home and channel that good energy with our selection of pieces inspired by this Mediterranean dream.

Ahh wat een heerlijke plek! Formentera is echt een idylisch eiland met de meest mooie stranden. Je komt er niet linea recta want je hebt altijd een ferry nodig vanaf Ibiza.
